Jack and I were married just a few weeks ago. Jack works as a carpenter and a blacksmith. He makes furniture and does decorative pieces for some of Boston's elite residents. He's also a decent blacksmith. I don't have a job, but I'm pretty good at cooking and sewing. Neither Jack nor myself are too happy living in a big city like Boston, and we are tiring of the cutthroat attitudes of the people in those elite social circles that Jack so often interacts with. We weren't raised in high class families, and our social graces are considered lacking, though we are both quite friendly and approachable. We are planning to move West. Jack has no destination in particular in mind, but someplace like the Oregon or Montana territories sound promising. Jack is hoping to set up a blacksmith/carpentry shop and I would love to raise a large family with Jack. We plan on leaving as soon as we can; Jack just has to finish up a few more specialty orders and we'll be gone. We will find a place to rent in Independence before leaving with a wagon train going West.
