David and I are thrilled to announce that we are once again proud parents of not one, not two, not three, but four healthy newborns! Our quadruplets, one boy and three girls (two of whom are identical twins), came into the world and blessed our lives on September 30. Our son, Connor Joseph, was born first at 8:59 AM, weighing 4 pounds, 4 ounces; 18 1/2 inches long. He was joined by Anna Julia at 9:01 AM, weighing 4 pounds, 2 ounces; 18 1/4 inches long. Ava Riley (Anna's identical sister) made her entrance into the world at 9:02 AM, weighing 4 pounds; 18 1/4 inches long. And finally, Zoe Savannah joined her siblings at 9:04 AM, weighing 3 pounds, 14 ounces; 18 inches long. Despite being born early, all four babies were healthy and strong and are doing wonderfully. There is no doubt that they are a very welcome addition to our family and are loved dearly, not only by mommy and daddy, but by their big brothers and sisters. Nicholas is now seventeen and has just started his senior year in high school; how time does fly---seems like yesterday he was my newborn baby and now he is applying for college. As always, Nick is a phenomenal big brother, not just to the four little ones we have, but to all the kids; he is an avid football and baseball player and a wonderful student with his heart set on becoming a lawyer (he will succeed too considering he has always been one determined and persistent child). Jonathan and Samuel are approaching their fifteenth birthday in October. Now sophomores in high school, they are still very close, although John loves baseball and would like to pursue a career in law enforcement, while Sam prefers football and would like to become a firefighter. Natalie is now twelve years old and in the seventh grade (her first year of middle school); she was a quiet, shy little girl when she was younger, definitely a mommy's girl, and now she's quite the popular student at school. She loves gymnastics and cheerleading and has quite an affection for children; she loves helping with the quadruplets and other kids in the neighborhood and plans on becoming a pediatrician. Elizabeth recently turned eleven and has started sixth grade (her last year of elementary school). Ella has always been a sweet little girl, my little shadow growing up, although now she has become far more outgoing. She loves to act, sing, and dance (often sitting in front of a mirror in her room for hours reciting lines and acting out scenes from her favorite television shows and movies) and is quite a little performer; there is no doubt that she is telling the truth when she says she wants to be an actress. Our triplets, Nathan, Alexandra, and Kyle, will celebrate their eighth birthday in November but have already started the third grade. Nate is our sports fanatic, very much an athletic child (a lot like his older brothers in that regard) who loves baseball, basketball, and football and is content to spend hours outside; his dream is to become a professional baseball player. Kyle also enjoys playing baseball, but not to the same extent as his brother; he also loves to draw and says he would like to become a police officer. Alexandra is our little princess, definitely a girly-girl who loves to play dress-up and take care of her baby dolls; she enjoys sitting for hours in her bedroom playing school with her dolls, so that explains why she says she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. And of course, we have been joined by our four little miracles, who we are delighted to have the privilege of raising; we can only imagine what individual personalities and dreams they will take on in their lives. Welcome to the world Connor, Anna, Ava, and Zoe!
