John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our fourth child, and first son, John Nathan. John, named for his father, came into the world on June 16th, weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces; 20 1/2 inches long. He's definitely his Daddy's boy with brown hair and blue eyes, and has a wonderful, easy-going disposition. Big sisters, Ariella, Melissa, and Kaiya, are wonderful with the new baby and absolutely adore their little brother.
Ariella, who is four, is now in preschool and loving every minute of it. She already knows how to count to 30, knows her ABCs, and is starting to read. She has made a number of friends, but is still the relatively quiet, Mommy's girl that she's always been. She loves to play with her dolls and stuffed animals.
Melissa is two and very active. She's talking up a storm and loves to run around. She is far more outgoing than Ariella, and is just as friendly as her big sister. She can be a little drama queen at times, but is a very sweet little girl.
Kaiya is growing up so quickly...it doesn't at all seem like she's already a year old. She is talking, some, and walking. Like Melissa, she's pretty active, and loves to be chased around. She's a very playful little girl and loves to tag along after her big sisters.

Baby Tomas arrived into the world a few days ago and we named him after his doting father! The older children are thrilled to have a baby in the family again and Hari, who has just started school was especially pleased to finally have a brother to play with! Emily, Elsa, Alice and Heather are now in year 5 at primary school and are doing well. The triplets Clara, Tilly and Freya are very excited as they will move up to high school in september and they are all a great help in looking after Hari and Tomas.

Baby Tomas arrived into the world a few days ago and we named him after his doting father! The older children are thrilled to have a baby in the family again and Hari, who has just started school was especially pleased to finally have a brother to play with! Emily, Elsa, Alice and Heather are now in year 5 at primary school and are doing well. The triplets Clara, Tilly and Freya are very excited as they will move up to high school in september and they are all a great help in looking after Hari and Tomas.

..Our family is doing wonderful..Phillip has started his own business of over the road haulers. I am teaching 10th grade at the local high school. Hannah is a first grader this year and has joined the Brownies and plays soccer. The triplets Evie, Catie and Bekah are entering kindergarden and are excited. Evie is learning to play the violin and Catie is wanting to start an ant farm of all things lol... Bekah is the quiet and reserved one of the three and has decided to just be my shadow for now... she loves to help in the kitchen and to help with the younger kids. All is well here in the Sims family household.
We recently welcomed a son, Aaren Rowan into the family.
Matilda, Caleb and Vincent are now in the 5th grade (they grew up too fast!), Charlotte and Willow are in the 3rd grade and Paolo is in preschool.
Matilda is begging me to allow her to wear makeup, but she's still a kid! Waaay too young. She also, apparently, as a "boyfriend". Apparently, in the eyes of a fifth grader, a boyfriend is a boy you are only friends with. She barely seems to register that there is a new baby in the house.
Caleb and Vincent are also doing well. Caleb as becoem Aaren's best friend. he begs me to help feed and play with Aaren. Vincent isn't as enthusiastic about helping. He decided to take up basketball, and the family enjoys going to his games.
Charlotte and Willow also love taking care of Aaren. Charlotte decided that she enjoys singing and dancing. We signedh er up for ballet and tap. Willow is very tomboy-ish. She plays softball.

Reuben's pleased to have a brother to be protective of. He's an old hand at this big brother stuff. Elsa is totally disinterested in the little guy. Tuti is amazed by him.
Elsa is great. She's my little fireball, full of energy and excitement, a bit hard to handle at times, but that's how it goes. She still loves the water, always wants to swim, which is a bit harder to work in with the new babe.
Reuben is getting older far too soon. He's four now, I can't believe it. He's a real mama's boy, very sweet and gentle. He loves dancing, it's crazy, he'll try to sing and dance and beat along (he calls it ba-dumming) to something, all at the same time. I've convinced Hywel to let me keep his hair a bit longer now, it's darkened to a something a little lighter than Elsa's hair and you can see his curls.

We are all doing well though cold season is coming on again and once one of us catch it we all come down sick. :)
Cole's job is going well and he just got a promotion. My children are keeping be very busy though I still have time for some fun things such as sewing and scrapbooking.
Clara is now in third grade and is also taking dance classes and really loving them. The quads just started kindergarten this fall and are actually doing very well though they keep their teachers very busy. Yannick is three and doing preschool, learning his alphabet and playing well with other children and enjoying being a boy.
Our nest has been feeling quite full lately so it was quite a surprise when we found out that we were expecting another baby and extremely pleased that it is another little boy!
Little Callum Elias looks a lot like his big brother and dad with dark hair and deep brown eyes. He's a very good tempered baby and loves to watch things around him and poor little boy, he has six mother hens running around him whenever he cries so he's spoiled too! :)

Dear Kelsie,
When I wrote you last year, we had just welcomed our second daughter to the family. Well, now, as I write, our third son is sleeping peacefully in his crib upstairs. Wyatt Felix Thompson is nearly a month old now. Wil and I are a little overwhelmed with five children under five, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Wil's carpentry business keeps growing. He has made a lot of furniture lately and, although his workshop is here at the house, it seems like he's never home. Wil spends a lot of time out in the workshop, but he always makes time for the kids.
I enjoy taking care of the kids. I love watching them grow and learn. Once a week I take the kids to a play group with some other women from around the area. The boys absolutely love it, and they've made lots of little friends (there are at least three other boys age 4 or 5 there). I also like to take the kids to the park and go on nature walks with them.
Jack and Noah are both quite rambunctious now. Jack in particular has really turned into a wild one. He's been having a rough time with authority lately, resulting in lots of time-outs. Noah remains very active, though he willingly submits to most authority. He seems to like sports a lot. The boys are enjoying preschool. They go to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8 am until noon. There are nine other children in their class (six girls, three boys).
Mary is two. She still follows Wil around everywhere. She loves to run and is quite active. She is a sweet child, and loves to be around people.
Elena is one. She is a lot like Mary was at this age except that she doesn't like being outside. She is very clean and doesn't like to be dirty. Elena doesn't say much, but you can tell her mind is working.
Wyatt is the baby. He loves to watch his older siblings play around the house. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The boys absolutely love it, and they've made lots of little friends (there are at least three other boys age 4 or 5 there). I also like to take the kids to the park and go on nature walks with them.
Jack and Noah are both quite rambunctious now. Jack in particular has really turned into a wild one. He's been having a rough time with authority lately, resulting in lots of time-outs. Noah remains very active, though he willingly submits to most authority. He seems to like sports a lot. The boys are enjoying preschool. They go to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8 am until noon. There are nine other children in their class (six girls, three boys).
Mary is two. She still follows Wil around everywhere. She loves to run and is quite active. She is a sweet child, and loves to be around people.
Elena is one. She is a lot like Mary was at this age except that she doesn't like being outside. She is very clean and doesn't like to be dirty. Elena doesn't say much, but you can tell her mind is working.
Wyatt is the baby. He loves to watch his older siblings play around the house. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
