Matthew Amato , Rebecca Alessia , and Deborah Adelina are 10 year old triplets from Italy. They speak only partial English. They are very devout Catholics [all first names are biblical]. Matthew was born blind and all three children are selective mutes, not even talking to each other. Our agency found them after they had ran away from home. It turns out that their mother and her boyfriend abused the children. Matthew loves to paint, and he plays percussion. Rebecca loves animals and is fond of traveling. Deborah likes to shop, write stories, and play with other kids. Both girls play the violin and the piano. Matthew, Rebecca, and Deborah are going to need counseling and lots of love.

Matthew, Rebecca and Deborah are doing good. We got them a counselor and they are doing better. Matthew, though blind, is doing well at school. He speaks occasionally, more than the other two. Rebecca hasn't said a word since she came to us, but she is happy and smiles more than she first did. Deborah doesn't ever speak, unless it's singing which is always in Italian. They seem to get along with the other children, but it is hard to know, because they never say anything. Our progress is slow, but it is coming.

-Sawyer Andrew is a 5 year old boy from California (USA). He loves animals, playing soccer, and entertaining people. He is also very outgoing. He has a slight speech impediment, but it is very correctable with a speech therapist.
-Madeleine Amalia is a 2 year old girl from France. She likes to play with dolls, play dress-up, and house.
-Magdalene Jane is a 3 day old baby from Hungary.

I am Desirae, wife of Levi. These children really are a blessing! Sawyer is so fun to have around. He has recently decided he wants to be a magician when he grows up. So, we have been entertained with more magic shows then we can count! We have been working with him on his speech problems, and those too are improving.
Madeleine is so adorable. The other day, Levi came home from work (he is an actor) with a bunch of old costumes that were to be discarded, but he saved them. Madeleine comes out of her room every day with a different costume on. Sometimes she is Sawyer's assitant in his magic shows.
Magdalene is so cute, but she is a handful. Thankfully we have Loretta to help. I don't know what I would do without any of them!
We would love to apply again, but don't want to wear out our welcome so to speak. Don't rush with replying. Just anytime at all.

He has been sharing his life with us through words and pictures. We feel like we've offered him the love he needed. We bought Rebecca a dog, and she is doing better. Her first words to us were "I want his name to be Italian". After that, she speaks occasionally, and definately smiles a lot. She gets along really well with Francesca, another of our adoptive children. Deborah really took to singing, but has still said nothing to us. She is happy, we know that. We are trying to learn Italian so that we can understand what she is saying when she sings. She understands English, but doesn't speak it. We are still trying to get her to come out of her shell.

He was very excited when he got a magic set and a "real" magician to come and perform at his birthday. He has made many friends, and is such a joy to have around. Madeleine still likes playing dress up. She saves her allowance to go to the local costume shop and buy a hat or dress. She loves dressing up in my clothes and occasionally, I catch her wearing my make up. She loves tea-parties too. Magdalene (now 6mo old.) is a wonderful baby girl. She has thick, curly black hair and dark, chocolate colored eyes. She is always smiling.
We would love to apply again-- same as before (of course). This time, I think we can handle as many as you can give us. We wait patiently for your reply,
