Jen is nominated for a Golden Globe.
It seems that everyone already knows, since it's been all over the media, but John and I have welcomed the arrival of our first child, a handsome baby boy we've named Deacon Slade. We're a little surprised at all of the attention that's been focused on our little one, but we're thrilled that he is finally here...happy and healthy.
And on another note, we were so excited to find out, shortly after Deacon was born, that I've been nominated for a Lead Actress in a Drama Golden Globe award for my television role. The awards show is next week, and I'm busy trying to get the finishing touches put on my dress. Now, it's the waiting game, though I'm honestly happy to just have been nominated. It really is such an honor! :-)
