Dear Sugar Adoption Agency:
Thank you so much for the wonderful boys you've given our family! We couldn't be happier. It finally feels like our family is right--like this is how many children we're supposed to have. You were right, Joel is a very good actor. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether he's telling the truth or not, but I think we found a good outlet for his dramatics-- community theatre! He's already been in one play and the next one auditions next week. He was Gavroche in the production of Les Miserables. We are so proud of him. He's also adjusted really well to our family -- we were worried for a little while that there would be competition between him and Gabriel (who is ten) but they have bonded really fast.
Reuben (who we call Ben) worried us the first two weeks. He didn't speak to either my husband or me. The only one who he would talk to was Kira. She would "translate" for us, and eventually he became comfortable with us as well. He and Kira still share a special bond, which is good. He loves Taelea and he and Kira are in charge of taking her on walks (only up and down the street, of course -- they're 5!). We're thinking of enrolling him in community soccer with Kira in the fall. I think they both would really enjoy that.
Harri is the sweetest little 2 year old we could hope for. All of the older children have fallen in love with him and spoil him constantly. We've taken him to the pediatrician for a look at his legs, the doctor thinks there might be a slight muscular deficiency. We're keeping an eye on things, and praying a lot. The doctor wants to take another look at him next month. He is crawling a lot better than he was when he came, so it looks like his muscles are strengthening.
Thank you again for everything you've done for us -- we couldn't have chosen more compatible children for our family.
God bless you and yours!
Eilís Eibhlín Sullivan
