Re: Think/Say!
in reply to a message by Julia
This is my daughter, Adriana Sofia. (Adriana is said ah-dree-ah-nah, like Audrey-ana)
Say: What a beautiful name.
Think: A little too frilly, but nice. This is my son, Ian Alexander.
Say: What a great name.
Think: Even though both names are popular, I like them both a lot. Nice combo. This is my daughter, Olivia Simone.
Say: What a beautiful name.
Think: Olivia is my oh-so-popular guilty pleasure. I love Simone, and the combo goes together well. This is my son, Nathaniel William. We call him Nathan.
Say: Nice name.
Think: A little boring, but classic and nice. This is my daughter, Charlotte Amelia.
Say: What a gorgeous name!
Think: Same. Nice gorgeous. Not boring or predictable either. This is my son, William James. We call him Liam.
Say: Handsome name.
Think: Boring! And Liam is so trendy right now. But still it could definitely be worse! These are my twin daughters, Emmeline Hope [Emmeline is said EH-meh-line) and Sophia Rachel.
Say: Pretty names.
Think: Ok. Not bad. Not big favorites. Emmy and Sophie as nn's would be cute. :bThis is my son, Jacob Oliver.
Say: Nice name, esp. Oliver.
Think: Love Oliver, hate Jacob (never got the attraction and it's WAY overused). This is my daughter, Noelle Tatiana. (Tatiana is said tah-tee-AH-nah)
Say: How pretty.
Think: Yuck. Sorry. Tatiana is tolerable, I suppose, but nms. This is my son, Joseph Henry. We call him Joey.
Say:
Think:This is my daughter, Emilia Rose. (Emilia is said eh-mih-LEE-uh)
Say: Oh, what a beautiful name.
Think: Love the pronunciation and spelling of Emilia. Rose is trendy but still pretty. ;bThis is my daughter, Anneliese Natalia.
Say: Pretty name.
Think: Anneliese (which I like) makes me think German and Natalia (which I don't care for) makes me think Italian, so odd combo imo. But still pretty. :)
