Re: You Say/You Think
in reply to a message by Siri
This is my son, Anders Raphael.
You Say: Hi, Interesting name.
You Think: I've liked Anders ever since I read "White Oleander". It's nice for someone with Scandi. descent. This is my daughter, Rachel Celeste.
You Say: I have an aunt named Rachel.
You Think: It's an okay name, but I have a hard time seeing it on anyone but my 50-something year old aunt. This is my daugther, Katharine Helen, whom I call Kit.
You Say: I adore the name Katharine.
You Think: I love this spelling too. Katharine Helen doesn't have the best flow, but I like Helen. It's a nice old fashioned name. Kit is a nice nickname, I prefer Kate by a long shot, but atleast it isn't Kitty or Kathy. This is my son, Leo Allan
You say: Hi Leo!
You Think: Leo is pretty cute, but it seems so incomplete. I can't think of anything I like it as a nn for though. Allan I know is after your father, and I think honoring is nice.
