Re: Alphabetical C.A.F. ~Judged~
in reply to a message by Distant_Stars
I've taken on literature, but I'm not starting at the beginning of the alphabet. If you would prefer I did so, let me know and I'll redo it. :) Each person has been named after a character in a book (and in one case, a poem).
LN: Marlow
DH: Nemo Oliver
DW: Pearl Queenie
DS: Ronald Sam
DD: Thursday Undine
DD: Vianne Wanda
DS: Xavier Yorrick
DD/DS: Zuleika Alice, Bartholomew Charley
Nemo, Pearl, Ron, Thursday, Vivi, X, Zuleika, and Tolly Marlow
They were named for these people:
Charlie Marlow (Heart of Darkness)
Captain Nemo (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea)
Oliver Twist (Oliver Twist)
Pearl Prynne (The Scarlet Letter)
Queenie (The Bearnstein Bears series)
Ronald Weasley (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, etc)
Sam Spade (The Maltese Falcon)
Thursday Next (The Eyre Affair, etc)
Undine ("Undine" by Edgar Allen Poe)
Vianne Rocher (Chocolat)
Wanda (The Magic School Bus series)
Xavier (Three Day Road)
Yorrick (Hamlet--he's the skull)
Zuleika Dobson (Zuleika Dobson)
Alice (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, etc)
Bartholomew (The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Higgins)
Charley (Flowers For Algernon or Travels With Charley--take your pick)
That was exceedingly hard. My definition of "literature" is pretty loose, as you might be able to guess.
