Re: Lala's Adoption Center Updates

Good thing I went all the way up to Spanish 5, since I adopted three sisters from Spain!
Alejandra is doing great! Her sister, Beatriz, has comforted her a lot. She is learning English quite well. She loves it here in America. Alejandra loves spinach salads, just the way mommy makes them; with strawberries, peaches, and raspberry vinerette dressing. We're having it tonight!
Beatriz, likes it here, but is very shy. She mostly likes to be with Alejandra. She also told us that she liked to be called by her middle name, Carolina. I had no objections. She starts kindergarten in the fall and is learning English at a very fast pace. I just hope she loses some of her shyness!
Estrella, 8, is somewhat of a rebel. I can tell I'll be getting calls home from her teacher in the fall. She is passionate about reading, and I've been trying to teach her how to read in English. She's not too keen on that. She loves her sisters, but is a risktaker. I'll have my hands full with her.
All of the children took to me right away. I hope things keep on going as consistantly as they are now!
