First, pick a color. The family's surname is the color you chose.

Parents
* Father: choose a name somehow (can be very loosely) associated with your color
* Mother: choose a name somehow associated with whatever you deem to be the "opposite" of your color

Children
* Count the number of letters in the color; that is how many children there will be (ex. RED = 3 children). Answer as many questions as necessary to use all of the letters in your color.
* Each child's name must contain the letter that corresponds to its number. (ex. using RED: child one could be Evander, child two could be Kelly, child three could be Damien)
