Re: Make a family, Part 6

Hi everyone,
Well we've finally moved into a house big enough to fit the kids! Our new place has seven bedrooms, two bathrooms and a backyard big enough to hold the kids when the get to energetic to play indoors. Mark and I decided to let the kids get creative and have as much say in the decorating of their own rooms as possible.
Harry insisted on having the room next door to Charlie, even though the spare room we were going to give him is bigger. Hes decided he wants the walls Cobalt blue and his bed is lime green. He's put pictures of animals all over the walls, from ducks to monkeys.
Charlie is very much our girlie-girl and, somewhat predictably, decided that her room was going to be pink. Mark went a little bit crazy for his little daddy's girl and turned her room into a room a princess would envy - theres lace, frills, stuffed animals and general 'pinkness' in every corner!
The triplets are so excited about having their own rooms, although I think they'll find it strange to sleep alone having shared a room their whole lives. Ella's choosen bright yellow for her room and its turned into what she calls the 'sunshine' room. Its a very warm and uplifting room.
Zoe is our adventurous one and decided that her room was going to be lots of different colours because she couldn't choose just one! So one wall is green, one purple, one white and one red. Its makes me a wee bit dizzy but she loves it! Zoe is also our little artist so the white wall is painted with a special washable paint so using the rite pens she can draw on the wall to her hearts content and it wipes straight off.
Lia's room is probably my favourite. She loves disney movies and when we let her decide what her room was going to look like she asked me if we could paint all her favourite characters on the walls. So we designed huge murals that cover all the walls and now Lia says she feels like she's walking into one of her favourite movies whenever shes in her room.
The new house also means that we've finally had the room to be able to get the kids a puppy, and when we went to the breeders to choose one, we fell in love and came away with two wriggly labrador pups. One gold and one black, both males. We let the kids name them so we've now added Simba and Goofy to our family.
Love from all
Anna, Mark, Harry, Charlie, Ella, Zoe, Lia, Simba and Goofy.
