Amarinda is my middle name an my parents always said it means long lived and unfading i think its a kind of flower or weed to its posta be really pretty thoses kind of flowers that never fad when your dry them thats what they are i think there called amarinda flowers.

I would say it is eithert related to the "Amarant", an imaginary flower of Greek mythology that never that never dies, or "amarus" which is "bitter" in latin. Check related names Amara and Amaranta .
