thanks
I'D LIKE TO THANK THIS SITE FOR FINDING OUT THE ORIGIN OF MY NAME AND IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYMORE PLEASE LET ME KNOW SUNITA (f) "well conducted" from the Sanskrit prefix su "good" combined with nita "conducted". In Hindu legend this is the name of the daughter of King Anga of Bengal.

According to this website on Hinduism, the Sunita of legend had been born of her father's mind and was "celebrated over the three worlds". That's a nice description, I think. :)

It appears from reading here that this particular Sunita's father was Mrytiu, and Sunita married Ativala, the son of King Ananga.
I'm sure our host, Mike C, will appreciate your kind comments on his website. Thanks for visiting, Sunita!
