The name Calah could be from the Arabic Kalah which means "to shout" or from the Sanskrit Kalah which means "creative". It might also be a variant of the Greek Calla meaning "lily" or some sort of feminized version of the Hebrew Michael meaning "Godly"

Hi-I don't know how old that question was, but I just thought I'd say that my parents named me for the city in Genesis 10 in the Bible.
