Brealynn, Braelynn
Has anyone ever heard of either of these names?Brealynn or Braelynn? We are considering useing them for our child who is due to arrive in March. My husbands name is Brian and we are looking for female names sounding Similar to Brian but do not want to use Briann, Brianna , or any of the other forms seeing as we have a niece named Brianna . We have no idea of the ethnic background of the name, however we do know that it is feminine. Any help would be greatly apprciated

I love the names spelled both ways. My daughter's is spelled "Brealynn" however often gets mispronounced or spelled Braelynn.

According to the U.S . Social Security Administration, in a 100 percent sampling of Social Security card applications for births in the year 2000, the name Braelyn appeared 70 times, while the name Braelynn appeared 27 times. There were no appearances in the sampling I have for either the name Brealyn or Brealynn.
As for the meaning of the name, it appears to be an invented name, possibly using the elements of Brian and Lynn .
