Milena in czech means "gracious"
in greek it means "lovely girl"
but on this site it has a different meaning and is Italian.

Also, I would like to know how the name Milena is pronounced. Is it ..

I'm not sure about the meaning but my mother heard the name in Costa Rica and has pronounced it Mee-lay-nah

It's prn. mi-leh-na ("eh" like in men). And Milena is a real name.

Milena *is* a real name

I personally know 3 of them.
In Slavic languages it is pronounced mee-leh-nah (the stressed syllable varies with language).

i know a girl who spells it M'Lena and it is pronounced m-lay-na (you stress the m like "muh").
I like the spelling milena much better.
