In Germany there are Names like ROSCHE, ROSCHY or ROSCHIG with various possible derivations. The one most interesting for you might be: from the Slavonic Name Rodoslav (not on the data base, so it's "descent" + "famous"). As a German name it could be from "rasch" (quick) or "rosch" (rush, the plant). But as you are talking about Japanese, it could be from any language of the world.
