Gruoch-- pronunciation?
Does anyone know how to pronounce the name Gruoch? In the book I'm reading, it's the first name of Lady Macbeth, a Scottish noblewoman from c. 1040 AD. So far I'm saying "Grick", but I have a hard time with names from that region. TIA for any help!

Pronounced “grew” with a soft ck sound at the end.
Grew och (as in loch). Lots of English people say lock but this is incorrect. You need to pronounce the oc sound with the back of your tongue close to your palate.
My instinct would be GROO-ukh or groo-OKH (kh as in 'loch').
