i have heard of the name khelifa, everyday ;) my names khelifa and so was my grandpas, if u do a search on the internet, you can find a few pages of sites that have some info, the meanings are all sliughty different so just search around :)

The Arabic name -- or title -- of "Khalifa" comes from the word with which most Westerners are most familiar: "caliph", meaning a religious or civil ruler of the Islamic world -- one who claims succession from the prophet Muhammad , himself.
