Well, I retract my previous statement. I had no intention of working everyone up into a naming tizzy. Jeez, guys, it's really not that serious. Everyone makes mistakes.

It's a big place, with a big population. While it may well be true that 63% of the female population of some random small town in some random English-speaking country is named Elizabeth or one of its (no ', please) variants, have you considered the population of India? China? Malaysia? Nigeria? Indonesia? If not, perhaps you should, before you try to perpetuate silly myths.

Or, of course, you could do something really interesting and check the statistics ... .

BLA BLA's 600 Interesting But Incredibly Useless Facts.
My daughter got it at a school book fair, and as far as I can tell, all the facts are checking out.

PS Marilyn Monroe had 11 toes, and Joseph Stalin had 9, because two had grown together!

I don't know about Stalin having syndactyly, but given that your book perpetuates Monroe's appendage-related myth, I'd question this so-called "fact".
