Looking for origin of Araica as a surname, My greatgrandfather was an Araica, whose parents were cousins, he was, as it has been the Spanish custom, an Araica Y Araica. His name was Juan Araica Y Araica. He was born 1809 in Nicaragua (we presume). Died 1914. To go along with this tale of woe, he was married to a Peura, (Felipa López Peura) born 1814. Died 1913, which I can not find eiter. Any help?
