Same name spelled differently?
There is a name that I like Meena but there is also Mina. Even though they are spelled different they are pronounced the same way. Are they considered the same name? Because after looking up the meanings they had two different meanings but to me they are the same name. Why would they have two different meanings and could you consider them the same name?

Thank You for your input its most appreciated :)

They just do. Sometimes the same sequence of sounds evolves as a name in two or more different cultures. Ami, Raisa, Naomi and Yuri (to name a few) are such names.
> could you consider them the same name
Sure, you could. Nothing prevents *you* from spelling Mina as Meena. However, from an etymological standpoint, they are not the same name. They have different origins and different languages of usage.
