Sorry to keep posting, but...
A friend of mine just got a copy of her family tree from her g/parents, and was telling me about it. Apparently a masculine member from the 18th century, who was Croation, was named Isolde.
We both know that Isolde is a Celtic female name, and is still used in modern Germany, so she is now questioning the accuracy of the tree.Does this seem plausable, or is the tree inaccurate?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks again

According to Slownik imion, a book published in Poland, the Croatian form of Isolde is Izoljda. What exactly is the place of this person in the family tree? If this is an unmarried person who is only mentioned in passing, perhaps the gender was simply incorrectly recorded.
