Does anyone know the meaning and/or validity of the name Loska?
I found it on a website but have not been able to find it since. I'm pretty sure it's masculine, and possibly of Slavic origin.

Loska is a Greek variant form of Loukas (Luke).

Very strange, I can assure you that Loskas is by no means a Grek version of Luke.
