I would translate Dragoljub into Italian as "caro amato". It consists of two radices: "Drag" meaning "Dear" and "Ljub" meaning "Love".

Ratko comes from Slavonic "radost" meaning "joy". Diminutive of RADI. Other spelling: Radko. Female: RADKA/RATKA.

These names are common to South Slavonic area.

The prefix, Drago means "precious" and ljub means "love." I'm not sure about Ratko.
