I have finally found the origin and meaning of my name "Netha" it comes from India and is the title given to a leader...meaning master, leader and lord.
The root nI is an old one in Sanskrit and means to lead, from which the word netR means leader. The nominative is netA, which in South Indian English orthography is netha.That said, I have not heard this as a name.
