I have just named my baby girl Teagan but have not decided how to ptonounce it as some books say Tee-gan and some say Tay-gan and everyone seems to have a different opinion...can someone please tell me once and for all how you are supposed to say it?!

Obviously since this is your child the final decision is up to you. However, in my experience the great majority of people in the USA who have given this name to daughters pronounced it as Tee-gan, with Tay-gan being a distinctly minority preference.
