Not sure if this is the right place to post, but anyway....I am just wondering if Hayley means hay clearing or meadow of hay, (hay being from nature) is Hayley considered a nature name? Cassie Anne (not Cassandra!)

It's probably ok to consider it a nature name - I don't see why not. Most names that people think of as "nature names" tend to be word names (Rose, Ivy, Stone, Canyon, Rowan etc), but there's no rule that says that they have to be still-used words.:-)

Thanks, I get what you mean, I thought the same thing if the name MEANS something to do with nature (ie Hayley meaning meadow of hay etc) then its a nature name. Cassie Anne (not Cassandra!)

Yes Haley means "Hay Clearing" orignally a surname derived from a place name probably Hailey in Oxfordshire fro the old english Heg= Hay and Leah= Clearing, use as given name started about 1960s inspired by the actress Haley Mills. Variant spelling: Haley. not sure if it is considered a Nature Name.Source TONC
