Odd African American Name
I need to find the meaning of the name Terico. I have looked on every data base I could find and can't find any thing.

the ter part could come from latin, terreo meaning fear, which the name Terrence comes from. the ico i just the special touch.
Keep looking, but please be aware it may not have any meaning or traditional origin. As a former US school employee I can tell you from experience that African-American names can be HIGHLY original. I know one boy whose legal given name was "C" (not 'C.') and one girl with the name Tequila (there was charming story about her origin). In addition, the use of a masculine African name for a girl (and vice-versa) is fairly common, as is unique spelling ("Donta" pronounced exactly like Donte). My point is you may have a tough time.
On what syllable does the stress fall? Are you certain the spelling is correct?
