I have for years try to find the true meanig of my first name which is Sether. I know the meaning's of Seth, but with the ER added i am unable. I would really enjoy a some help in finding the full meaning of my name. Thanks

I'm guessing it might be from the surname which seems quite common. According to Ancestry.com it's a habitational name from a number of Norweigan placenames containing the Old Norse sætr meaning simply farm.
