Archivesmeaning of my name, and origin?
Does anyone know what my name means? My mum said she read it in a book when she was pregnant, it was a fiction book set in the dark ages. Thanks,

I have no idea whether or not this is a real medieval English name or not. But the beginning syllable Cyn- in Old English names often meant "royal" or "king." You need to try to find a work on Old English names to see if Cynyslende could possibly be a real name from that time, or if it's just an invention of the author.
