huw
just noticed that "HUW" is simplistically described as the Welsh form of HUGH.
They have actually got totally different origins.
Hugh is from the Latin/French HUGO; meaning Thoughtful
Huw is from the Welsh Hwyl most easily translated as Passionate

My Welsh-English dictionary translates Huw as "lullaby" or "sleep". This seems a far cry from hwyl!
