etymology of name
Hariclea is a Greek name popular around the end of the 19 and beggining of the 20 th century. Can anyone else enlighten me on its meaning ?Thank you

Graceful and gloriousWell, you still see the name nowadays in Greece, although it does sound a tad old fashoned (like, say, Abigail would to an English speaker). The name itself has a wonderful etymology, frlom "charis" (meaing "grace") and "kleos" (meaning glory):)
