Where have you seen it used as a name? I only know it as a dictionary word.
Bijou Phillips, the daughter of John Phillips and Genevieve Waite.

I think I came across this while looking through a book of names. It is French, and means 'little jewel.' I think it is pronunced, Bee-ZHOO.
Haven't heard of the parents, but clearly plenty of people have. Oh well! Same as Apple, then.
BEE-shjoo - means 'jewel' in french
bee-zhoo. But it is no name in French... maybe a dog name...

Bee-zhoo, only the zh is a soft sound which is not like the z in zoo, but something between the "g" in engine and the "si" in Persia.
BEE-zhoo
bee-ZHOO, as the word is French
Precisely so - zhoo as in rhyming with zoo, not soot.
