My column on Kennedy
Here is the link to last Sunday's column. I was on vacation in Colorado and did not discover until I was there that my laptop's Wifi capacity was broken, so I had to wait until just now when I returned to Omaha to post this. That I have done columns on Jacqueline, Reagan, and Kennedy so close together is just pure coincidence.

It's interesting how a soap opera had more influence on Kennedy's popularity than John F. Kennedy did. (On a side note, Kennedy is the real name of Rockwell, the singer who sang "Somebody's Watching Me" with Michael Jackson. He was born in 1964, so he might have been named after JFK.)
In Brazil, Kennedy is strictly masculine. We don't name girls Kennedy.

I detest the name Kennedy for a girl.
There was also a baby sister named Kennedy on the TV show Blossom introduced September 1994, which might have made an edgy girl name a bit more palatable.
Oh darn, it won't let me read unless I subscribe.
If you send me an email in a personal message I will send you the column as I originally wrote it and sent to the editor.
