I am 5 lineages down a descendent of Jospeh Fundeburk Deramus. My Great Grandfather Lewis Deramus (Autagua AL, Panola TX) was owned by Jacob Deramus (S. Carolina, Autagua AL - Prattsville AL) through Inheritance of George Joseph Deramus (S. Carolina, Autagua AL), son of John Paul Deramus (S. Carolina), son of Joseph Funderburk Deramus (Switzerland, S. Carolina).
I would like to know more about your family of this old time. Do you have any photos?

George Joseph was my 5th great grandfather. His son George Joseph was married to Crecia Cherokee who's son was Wesley J.whose son was William J, whose son was Jesse who was my great grandfather. Autaga, Alabama to South Louisiana via Switzerland and Orangeburg, South Carolina.

We are cousins. I have extensive information. You have deep roots in Switzerland through the Pfund family. John Deramus, J.F.Deramus' son was a private in Capt. Rumph's Partisans during the revolutionary war. It was the first special forces unit in the history of America.
