Revision to name "Mias"
Hi hello,
So I looked up my name, "Mias", out of curiosity and found that it's both here but also listed as maybe a Dutch abbreviation of Jeremias. While this is hilarious, it's also incorrect.
It's a nickname I got in '05 as an abbreviation of "Mathias" (just remove the -ath- from the middle), and used as my actual name for so long in ~2018 I applied to the Danish government to get it added to the list of legal first names. While legally it's only available for boys, the general reactions I get from everyone regarding it definitely give me the impression everyone thinks it's gender neutral. And it's pronounced "Mee-ess", I saw an old edit on there as "My-ass" which is (equally hilariously) what my friends used to call me to annoy me.
