I think that they could easily be variants of the Hebrew names Eliora and Liora. Perhaps they were first created by someone who much preferred the look and sound of the 'a' over the 'o', thinking that the 'a' made the names sound softer and more elegant. It could also be that people kept misreading Eliora and Liora as Eliara and Liara (in handwritten Latin script) often enough that eventually some people began to see them as actual variants or otherwise legitimate alternatives to the originals.
