African names support
Hi everyone -- long time no see.I realized that there is a lack of support of click consonants on this site. For example, this site's pronunciation and IPA guide does not include click consonants, which many of them are featured on some portions of African languages. For more information, you can see about it here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Click_consonant and https://www.behindthename.com/info/pronunciation.There are some names that feature the click consonants, for example Nqobile (https://www.behindthename.com/name/nqobile/submitted, pron: https://youtu.be/cJGwdcXffB0) and Qaqamba (https://www.behindthename.com/name/qaqamba/submitted). The letter Q in both names represent a click consonant, which is the alveolar click. Here's how to pronounce the alveolar click: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Postalveolar_click.ogg. Both names are just the tip of an iceberg -- they might appear on the surface but there's lot more African names underneath that remain untouched or recognized, especially the ones that features click consonants. And, that's it for now. Hope this helps, have a nice day 😃✨Greetings from 15 hours ahead!
