Do you think the spelling of list of popular names in Spain is correct?
I think it should be Sofía not Sofia, María not Maria, Lucía not Lucia etc...

Trouble is that INE publishes spreadsheets with names that are all upercase, so you can't be absolutely sure how the exact spelling of the names is.
In my own lists I replace un-accented names with the most popular name variants as used in Spanish-speaking countries that publish lists with exact spellings at least in part, as some sort of "reasonable speculation". You can see the result here: https://www.babynames.ch/Info/Series/psEsYearly
