I know that “Rena” could be coming from the French word “renard”, but I’m not sure about “Renna”.

"Born', as part of a name, would usually be a form of 'natus' or 'nata', meaning 'born' in Latin. And 're' can mean 'again', but then you'd only have one n: Rena. So that wouldn't work. Maybe a short form of Emerentia? (I know someone whose full name is Rentia.)
In what kind of context did you find it? It is a pretty simple word form that probably has different meanings in many languages.
P.S. I just added a Germanic (Dutch and Frisian) etymology of Renna that is quite different from a derivation from Renate to the submitted names database.
