My Mum knows a Romanian guy with this name and she found it a somewhat *amazing* coincidence that the Romanian Eurovision Entry's name was Mihai. She asked me the meaning of it and I told her that it was more likely a Romanian form of Michael, which I promptly checked using the database.
Anyway, does anyone know how popular the name Mihai is in Romania? My Mum is really interested and she'd love to hear from you!
