Does anyone knows the original Latin pronunication for Calix? It means small wine cup in Latin.

my mom the latin teacher says "kahlicks". kah rhymes with "ma".

I agree on the pronounciation, however please note that ...

Kalyx is actually a Greek word meaning "outer covering," and derived from "kalyptein" ("to cover").
