Lourdes prn
I've heard this pronounced LOR-dayce and LOR-dess, is one of those correct, or is there another "correct" prn?
Thanks

Well, the pronunciation given in the database is the French pronunciation. I think when this name is used by Spanish speakers (who are those most likely to give it to daughters) it is normally pronounced in two syllables.
Right...
I've only heard it as LOOR-des

Ditto. I've never heard it (as a name) pronounced the French way.
