Name meaning, pronunciation and reference in Quran/Hadith
I am expecting a baby girl in a week's time. We are planning to name our baby 'Raudzah'. We want to make sure:
- we pronounce it correctly
- know its right meaning (From the net i got it as Garden in Paradise. Is it a specific garden in Paradise or any garden in Paradise)
- it would be great if we know its reference from Quran/ Hadith
Thanks

I can't find that specific name in the references I have with me at the moment.
Digest of Muslim Names by Fatimah Suzanne Al Ja'fari includes "Rawdah" with the meaning of "garden".
The Complete Book of Muslim & Parsi Names by Maneka Gandhi and Ozair Husain includes;
Raud ("pleasant" or "blooming")
Raûdah ("handsome girl")
Raudak ("lovely, blooming")
Raudakah ("embellish")
Rauzah ("garden", figuratively "paradise")
Rauzât ("gardens", "paradises")
Sorry, but neither of those books gives pronunciation or references to Quran or Hadith.
