I kind of like the name Anie but I was wondering how would you pronounce it? I'm thinking that it could be a nickname for Stephanie.
Would you say it as An-ee?

If you spell it like that, most people will guess AY-nee, with the AY as in day. And she'll get all the anus "jokes" imaginable, and a few extra. If she's very fortunate, she'll just get A-KNEE. All those phonics lessons scar the six-year-old brain for ever.
