I was told when I was born my mother made my name up out of diane and donna and came up with DIOANNA which is my legal name on my birth certificate. As the years went by my mother said she made a mistake and wanted my name spelled DIONA which is the way I spell it.

I have NEVER found my name anywhere or can locate a meaning. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
