Japanese from of Elizabeth?
What is the Japanese form of Elizabeth?Don't think about what it could have been, think about what it is now. It's okay to live for the small things

The romanization of the name seems to be エリザベス, but I don't think it is used as a name by Japanese people. However, names like Risa /(Lisa) and Eri (Ellie) could be interpreted as versions of Elizabeth that are used in Japan.

My Japanese Bible translates Elizabeth as "Erisabetsu." I can't find any evidence that this has actually been used as a girl's name in Japan; however, Erisa and Arisa are relatively common and may be considered to be equivalents of Elizabeth by some Japanese parents.
