Soooo, I'm watching a basketball game and there is a player from Sacramento whose name is Bonzi Wells. I'm wondering if any of you out there have any information about this name.

Just a little bit of Googling yields the information that Bonzi is Mr. Wells' nickname. His given names are Gawen DeAngelo:

Right, I googled him before I posted and since the best information I found was that his mother ate a lot of bon bons while pregnant I thought I'd post here in the hopes of a more educated answer. I guess sometimes the reasons we look for just aren't there.

Well the only meaning i can think of is as in the small tree like plant 'Bonzi' I thinks its Japanese. Im sure that doesn't help at all sorry XXX
